History of Khadi:
Khadi, a symbol of self-reliance and unity, was pivotal in India's fight for independence. Mahatma Gandhi embraced it as a tool to build an independent India, urging Indians to spin their own cloth. The act of making khadi became an act of defiance, breaking free from machine-made textiles. It ignited a spirit of self-sufficiency and self-determination, contributing significantly to India's journey towards freedom.
